I am so excited to begin my teaching journey. This blog is a place holder for ideas I have about teaching/education. A place for you to see how I am changing, adapting and growing my notions about becoming an educator.
I am very close to my certification in Secondary Education, English Language Arts. By December I will have completed all of the necessary steps to becoming a full blown classroom teacher.
At the end of August I will begin student teaching in Cartago, Costa Rica. I am really excited to start the process and I am trying to gear up for my time there. I will be living in a town close to the school and will be teaching for just over two months (10 weeks).
More later once I have some new ideas to talk about!
